Deleting your account and data
Privacy policy, terms of service and the medical disclaimer. These texts were written by the engineering team from what the product actually does, and are awaiting legal review — each document states its own status.

This page explains how to ask us to delete your RESET account and everything tied to it. It is kept separate from the privacy policy for people who have already uninstalled the app and so cannot use the in-app route.
How to make the request
- In the app: More → Privacy → Delete account. The fastest route, and it needs no correspondence.
- By email: write to support@fisher.tech from the address the account is registered to, saying that you want your RESET account deleted. This is the route to use if the app is already gone.
The email has to come from the account’s own address. If it comes from another, we will ask you to prove the account is yours first — otherwise a stranger could erase someone else’s data.
What happens next
The request queues the account for deletion and opens a 30-day window to change your mind. Throughout it the account keeps working and the deletion can be called off: in the app on the same Privacy screen, or by email to the same address if the app is no longer installed.
Once the 30 days pass, an automated job on the server erases the data. That step is final — we cannot bring it back.
What is deleted
- the account and its sign-in credentials;
- meal entries, weight and other measurements;
- progress photographs together with the keys they are encrypted with;
- settings, consents and the history of how they changed;
- analytics events tied to the account.
Completeness is guarded by an automated test: it discovers every table in the database that references the account and fails if the erasure misses one. So the list above is not a promise but something checked on every change to the code.
